In life and art, multitalented theater creator David Israel Reynoso opens new doors

When David Israel Reynoso was a little boy in Guadalajara, Mexico, he dreamed of growing up to become an Imagineer, the name for designers who create immersive environments and rides at Disney theme parks.

Reynoso never made it to Disneyland, but the 39-year-old Midway-area resident has become the San Diego theater community’s de facto Imagineer.
